Rare Drop Snacks started the way a lot of good things do — as a side hustle from a home office.
I was working from home and looking for a way to make a little extra on the side. Like a lot of people, I kept seeing exotic snacks blow up all over my TikTok feed — Buldak chips, Japanese KitKats, sodas you can't find anywhere near you. So I started digging in, and noticed something: my own town didn't have a single store that carried any of it.
That felt like an opening. Instead of waiting around for someone else to do it, I decided to start small — a little online shop to test the waters and see if other people were as into these snacks as I was. Turns out, they are.
The long-term dream is bigger than a website. Every order helps us build toward opening a real storefront one day — a place you can actually walk into and grab the rarest drops from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and beyond. For now, we're hand-picking the best imports we can find and shipping them straight to your door.
